Getting to PAB
Pointe aux Barques is located at the tip of Michigan’s Thumb on Lake Huron. It’s about 2.5 hours from Detroit and roughly 6 hours from Chicago.

Flights
We recommend flying into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), which is about a 3-hour drive from Pointe aux Barques.
You can also check flights into Saginaw (MBS), about 1 hour and 45 minutes away, or Flint (FNT), about 2 hours away.
Rental Cars
You’ll need a car to get up north, so we suggest booking a rental car ahead of time.
If you're open to carpooling, let us know! We’re happy to help connect guests with simliar arrival times.
Where to Stay
Cottages
Members of the Pointe aux Barques community have generously offered their homes for guests to stay in from Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20.
We will do our best to group families and friends in the cottages, but know this is a shared living situation. Cottage availability is limited, to secure a spot in a cottage please fill out an RSVP.
There is no cost to you—we’ll cover any rental fees associated with cottage stays.
Hotels
If you’d prefer to stay in a hotel, we have a room block at the Port Austin Bed & Breakfast in downtown Port Austin. There are limited hotel options so we would recommend booking early.
Please note: transportation will not be provided for guests staying outside of Pointe aux Barques. Additionally, there are no rideshare services (like Uber or Lyft) in the area, so you’ll need to plan for your own transportation to and from the venue.
